Special programs are planned by FRIENDS OF THE ISLAND LIBRARY in cooperation with the Island librarian. The role of the Friends is to work with the librarian to bring to the Island subjects that enrich the life of the community, help appropriate scholarship funding and purchase equipment for the library.
